CARAT 2006
El año 2006 ha sido el año fundacional del CARAT. El interés despertado por la iniciación de sus actividades entre los especialistas de todo el mundo fue muy importante para nuestra Institución.
Durante el primer semestre del año enviamos invitaciones a los posibles interesados en pertenecer al CARAT y fuimos recibiendo adhesiones desde distintos países (Francia, Estados Unidos, Inglaterra, Alemania, España, Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Brasil y Uruguay). Hoy somos 102 miembros.
Como primer actividad decidimos tener un sitio en la web, y luego realizar el Primer Congreso Anual de Centros y Tribunales de Arbitraje de Argentina. Para ello convocamos a los centros y tribunales de Buenos Aires a una primera jornada de trabajo en la que fue decidido realizar el Congreso en Mar del Plata, el día 20 de Octubre. El Congreso fue un éxito. Se registraron y asistieron jueces y profesionales de distintas provincias.
CARAT was founded this year, 2006. The interest that the initiative has awakened among specialists around the world fills us with pride and hope for the future.
During the first six months of the year we invited individuals with potential interest to join CARAT, and we accepted members from various countries. Today, CARAT has 102 members.
We designed a web page and rapidly moved to our first major project: the First Annual Congress for Arbitration Tribunals in Mar del Plata, Argentina, on the 20th of October. The congress was very successful and attracted judges and professionals from across the country.
